Coenzyme Q10 (MicroActive® Q10), 100 mg

CoQ10 is a vitamin-like compound required for bioenergetics: The flow and transformation of energy within all life forms. CoQ10 is present in all cells and all body tissues, but due to its energising properties, it is most concentrated in organs with high energy demands – especially the brain and heart.

Eighty percent of the body’s CoQ10 is found within the inner membrane of cells’ mitochondria. Here, CoQ10’s energy-promoting functions include:

  1. Sparking ATP energy within mitochondria. CoQ10 is a critical link in the mitochondria electron transport chain. As it shuttles electrons and ushers protons across mitochondrial membranes, CoQ10 helps convert energy in foods into the ATP energy that powers all biological life.
